Welcome to the Technology 7 Course page. Seventh Grade Technology uses Microsoft Excel extensively, but not exclusively. Starting in the First Quarter students learn about the different forms of measurement and the tools used to collect them. From there we proceed to collect sample data and organize it in preparation for creating bar graphs, line graphs, and pie charts. Once the graphs and charts are made student learn how to properly format and analyze the data they've collected in both its raw and graphed form.

The Spring semester has students transition to a business/economics unit. Seventh graders design, implement, and manage a summer camp. They have to decide on the number of campers, what activities will take place, choose a location, set a budget, create a website, and manage the camp through a series of setbacks. The goal of this unit/project is to get the girls to understand what it takes to think of an idea, implement it and successfully make it work.
