Welcome to the Technology 5 Course page. Fifth Grade Technology is all Microsoft Office. Students learn the fundamentals of Microsoft PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word. They learn how to format and edit word documents, create, edit and present a PowerPoint presentation, and how to work with various publications and advertisements in Publisher.

However, the course is not as cut and dry as it sounds. Fifth graders learn all of this is within the context of year-long class project. Working in groups students turn into young travel agents as they prepare an itinerary and presentation of various historical and cultural sights from around the world for a visiting family from Mars.
